We are currently working with a manufacturing organisation based in Mansfield who are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to their team, reporting to the Credit Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the companies debt is kept to a minimum but also helping out in Purchase Ledger, Payroll and Human Resources, with a view to becoming an assistant management accountant in the future If you are a Credit Controller looking for a position to gain exposure across other finance functions, then this is the role for you. Applicants will ideally have a minimum of 1 year experience of working in a Finance, Credit Control, Sales Ledger or Sales Admin position. Full study support for your AAT will also be provided along with the exposure needed for the qualification. Duties include: Chasing outstanding debt via telephone and email Taking payments over the phone Allocating payments to customer accounts Dealing with customer queries Opening new customer accounts and checking credit limits Sending out statements and re-invoices Matching and coding on invoices Preparation of payment runs Dealing with payroll queries Inputting hours onto spreadsheet Inputting starters and leavers Processing expenses Setting up new suppliers on the system General filing and data entry. This role is office based Monday to Friday 8am - 4.30pm, with free parking on site. They can be quite flexible on working hours to best suit applicants
