This fantastic opportunity will involve working as part of our team in providing repair and service on the company’s own document management solutions, as well as other manufacturers' product ranges and EPOS devices.
You will work face-to-face with customers to provide high-quality work and rapid problem-solving solutions. Travel throughout the assigned territory will be necessary. The territory for this role is the Midlands and candidates should ideally be located around the Nottingham and Sheffield regions.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide repair/service/installation to equipment on customers' premises, both Hardware and Software.
* Actively work as part of a team to improve team performance in terms of service delivery.
* Provide assistance to customers via telephone and on-site visits.
* Diagnose equipment and repair it in a timely fashion.
* Attend training courses to meet business needs.
What will your role as a Field Engineer look like?

Qualifications/Experience
* Qualifications in Electronics/Mechanics are essential.
* CDIA and A+ qualified are desirable.
* Skills/experience in field service of EPOS/document scanners, printers and/or storage products is essential.
* Basic understanding of optics and ability to read circuit diagrams would be useful.
* Ability to understand digital technology (PC hardware & associated software, peripheral interfaces, and network protocols) is essential.
* Must have the commitment to complete extensive product training as required.
* Must have the ability to work a reasonable amount of overtime (if required) to meet business needs and if required support 24X7 rota.
* You must be able to demonstrate, understand and apply workplace values.
* Good customer service skills.
* Must have a full UK driving licence.
