Job summary Writtle Surgery has 2 opportunities for experienced and professional receptionists to join our team. These are part-time positions with the following available shift patterns: 1: 7.45am - 1pm - Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 2: 1pm - 6.30pm - Monday and Tuesday The receptionist plays a pivotal role in the experience of patients at our practice, helping them to access the right services and dealing with their queries face-to-face, online and by telephone. General practice is a challenging environment that requires a motivated team player who has customer service/patient experience and offers excellent communication skills. Main duties of the job Dealing with patients face to face. Answering the telephone and booking appointments. Greeting patients. Contacting patients when necessary. Care navigation. Dealing with patient queries. Registrations and temporary resident processing. Working through tasks. Updating information in patient records, emails and much more in this very versatile role. Applicants will need to be flexible to cover additional shifts to cover annual leave and sickness. We have 3 salaried GPs, and a fully staffed team including practice nurses, dispensers, secretaries and administrators, clinical pharmacists and receptionists.
