We are recruiting for a service desk administrator to join one of our rapidly growing clients based in Wythall. This will be an ongoing position which can start immediately after a successful interview. Working in an office environment with experienced colleagues, The Service Desk Administrator will be responsible for managing purchase orders, planned maintenance tickets, and consumable orders. This role ensures efficient handling of fines, WIP, invoice management, and automated job allocations.
Key Skills and experience required:
* Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
* Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
* Proficiency in Microsoft office suite (word excel and outlook)
* Positive, confident, friendly, and conscientious character who is able to work as part of a team
* Excellent data entry skills and Attention to detail in managing records and documentation
Responsibillities :
* Purchase Order Management: Raise and manage purchase order numbers for required works, update and manage costs.
* Planned Maintenance: Raise tickets and supply purchase order numbers for planned maintenance, including PMI inspections, MOTs, Plant, MHE, and equipment services.
* PMI Bookings: Manage weekly PMI booking dates, ensuring inspections are booked and confirmed using Cherwell.
* Consumables Ordering: Order consumables such as diesel, slings, wheel nut markers, and extendable barriers.
* Fines & Penalties: Process and arrange payment for fines allocated in the designated region.
* Work In Progress (WIP): Manage open tickets, save paperwork to the shared drive, and update status on Cherwell. Handle resolved tickets and paperwork.
* Invoice Management: Update costs, save invoice paperwork to the shared drive, and monitor the invoice function to ensure processing using D365.
* Quote Processing: Process quotes, seek authorisation, and update Cherwell.
* Automated Job Allocation: Allocate any automated job raised for the region, action accordingly, and close down duplicates (excluding services).
* Team Support: Support the team with reasonable requests and cover during holiday periods.
Hours of work:
* Monday-Friday 08:00-17:00

* £11.60 Per Hour
