Job title: Day Support Worker
Location: Maisemore, Gloucester
Salary: £11.55 per hour
Role: Permanent 48 hours per week & requires some weekend working
Shifts: Days - 7:30am-3pm & 2:30pm-10pm

About the Service
We currently provide support to 6 adults in a supported living setting. Individuals supported at the service may be autistic or have a diagnosis of learning disability, and some individuals can display challenging behaviour. Everyone is an individual and is supported in a person-centred way; no day is the same.
Support Worker Duties:
* Supporting residents to develop independence and life skills.
* Assisting people to achieve daily goals & daily activities such as arts, crafts, and hobbies.
* Assisting with the development of person-centred plans for our residents.
* This includes employment, education, and other opportunities.
* Maintaining records and drawing up risk assessments.
* Providing personal care where needed, always working towards more independence.
* Supporting people in undertaking daily activities or development.
