What will I be doing?
To lead and coordinate continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives on key programmes, reporting to Safran Nacelles group. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the integration of new business projects on the Safran Nacelles Burnley site.
•Lead and coordinate cost-down and continuous improvement initiatives.
•Establish, monitor, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for each programme, ensuring performance aligns with organizational goals.
•Close collaborations with New Business Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and robust integration of New Business projects.
•Coordinate with Engineering, supply chain, production, quality, and scheduling teams to ensure seamless execution of operational strategies and product specifications.
•Collaborate with stakeholder customers to understand their needs and provide feedback to operations teams to ensure product specifications are met.
•Provide guidance and support to production teams, ensuring adherence to quality standards, cost goals, and timelines.
•Use data and analytics to drive decisions and provide insights into process improvements, cost savings, and potential business risks.

What will I be doing?

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to report to senior leadership and interact with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project) and ERP systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification.
- Experience working with factory floor operations and quality control standards.
- Knowledge of CAD software or product design processes.
