Manage the day-to-day inbound and outbound operations of a growing international Multi-modal logistics network - Air, Sea & Road Ensure all import / export shipments documentation is correctly signed and reports filed on behalf of UK Import / export operations Manage all inbound shipments within the ERP and update during the transit lifecycle Excellent knowledge of Import documentation & duties, INCOTERMS and the differing costs associated with each mode of transport. Responsible for all export documentation to be processed OTIF Verify Duty/VAT invoices are correct per customs entries and approve for payment Liaise with freight forwarders/couriers/transport companies both via email and web-based portals to obtain quotes and book freight movements. Verify invoices received match to quotations/rates and approve for payment Work closely with key internal stakeholders to improve customer / distributor relationships & performance. Manage and support all customer needs including troubleshooting any supply chain issues that occur. As a growing international SME, it is essential that the new Logistics Coordinator is a hugely proactive individual who will lead from the front and provide the following experience - Proven experience within Global Transport Logistics / Freight Operations in a B2B environment Significant experience of Ocean & Air Freight from the Far East (LCL) Understanding of UK/European Road freight both groupage and dedicated delivery Knowledge of customs entries, commodity codes and duty rates, INCOTERMS Understanding of Commercial Invoice requirements.
