We have a great opportunity for an experienced consultant to join our Renewables Advisory team at either Senior or Managing level, providing technical due diligence expertise for global renewable transactions. You will manage and execute projects and play a key role in the generation of revenue opportunities related to both new and existing clients. You'll also support the professional development of less experienced team members and assist the senior leadership team in decisions surrounding the business.
Hybrid working
Hybrid working is available from any of our 16 UK offices; however, you will be best connected with your team if based in Bristol, Glasgow, London, or Southampton.
Responsibilities
1. Manage technical consulting engagements in the renewable energy sector, particularly acquisition due diligence (TDD), vendors due diligence (VDD), and lenders technical advisory (LTA) for wind, solar, and BESS projects globally.
2. Contribute to complex client engagements, ensuring high-quality work products and the effective use of resources.
3. Structure content, author substantive sections, and direct team contributions to technical reports.
4. Assess the feasibility, performance, and risks associated with renewable energy assets.
5. Conduct detailed research and analysis on renewable energy-related issues.
6. Stay up-to-date with industry developments, emerging technologies, market trends, and best practices.
7. Review construction and operations contracts, methodologies, related programmes, and financial models.
8. Prepare detailed reports and presentations outlining findings for clients and for internal use.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide comprehensive advisory services to clients.
10. Build, manage, and maintain client relationships, leading to new and repeat business.

About you
1. Degree qualified or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g. Engineering, Renewable Energy, Project Management).
2. Solid working experience with technical due diligence in the renewable sector, including on behalf of financing parties.
3. Excellent conceptual and quantitative/qualitative analytical abilities.
4. Demonstrated leadership experience, modelling high standards of performance and professionalism.
5. Experience of business development, collaborative sales pursuits, or opportunity generation.
6. Strong communication skills, including the ability to translate for the attention of a non-technical audience.
7. Proficiency with standard industry software tools (e.g., Microsoft Office).
8. Flexibility to travel frequently as required by the business.
