Job Description:
We are seeking a committed and knowledgeable Teacher of Geography to join our team on a full-time, long-term cover basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Geography lessons in line with the curriculum.
* Teach Geography at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 levels.
* Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing support and intervention where needed.
* Maintain high expectations for student achievement and classroom behaviour.
* Contribute to curriculum planning and the development of resources.
* Engage in departmental meetings, training, and school-wide initiatives.
Candidate Requirements:
1. Degree or PGCE in Geography (A Humanities Degree or PGCE will not be considered).
2. Proven experience teaching Geography at Key Stages 3 and 4.
