About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to work closely with students who have a range of additional needs. This is a rewarding role where you will play a key part in helping students achieve their full potential in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide tailored support to children with special educational needs in both 1:1 and small group settings.
2. Assist in the delivery of individualised learning plans, ensuring students are engaged and making progress.
3. Help with the implementation of strategies to support behaviour, communication, and social development.
4. Work alongside the class teacher and other professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
5. Support students with personal care when required.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Experience working with children, ideally in an SEN setting, or a passion for supporting children with additional needs.
2. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
3. Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
4. A commitment to helping children succeed and develop to their fullest potential.
5. A relevant qualification (such as Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) is desirable but not essential.
