A primary school in the South Warwickshire area is looking for a Year 4 teacher to work for 8 weeks between September 2024–October half-term. This is to cover the final part of maternity leave in Year 4. This is a happy school where children love to be, the staff work hard to ensure the children at the school flourish and that their teaching is full of enthusiasm, high expectations and encouragement.
Your new role
Your new job will be to work full-time for the first half of the autumn term, which is 8 weeks in total. You will be required to take on full class responsibility during this time, and you will have your PPA time spent with the parallel class teacher, so you can plan together and share the work between you. This role is to cover a returning teacher from maternity leave. You will also be required to mark the work and ensure the children moving in to Year 4 have the best start to their new academic year as possible.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this new job you must be available full-time, from September 2nd 2024 until 25th October 2025. You must fully involve yourself in the life of the school and want to be part of the team. You must pride yourself on being able to educate children to high standards whilst bringing all areas of the curriculum to life. You must bemitted to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
