You’ll be working as part of a team to help them maintain a safe, healthy and environmentally responsible workplace. You will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining their quality, safety and environmental systems, ensuring compliance with regulations, and promoting a culture of safety throughout the organisation.
What will you do?
- Promote a safety-first culture through regular communication, awareness campaigns and safety meetings
- Identify opportunities to enhance SHEQ practises and programmes
- Deliver training programs (toolbox talks, safety briefings, manual handling)
- Monitor SHEQ performance, report on compliance, identify improvement areas
- Conduct risk assessments and routine safety inspections
- Investigate accidents, near misses – provide investigation reports and recommend corrective actions
To be successfully considered for this position you will need to have a solid understanding of Safety, Health and Environmental regs, standards and best practice, and be someone who is confident to deliver training to the workforce to help improve SHEQ performance. An IOSH Working Safely or similar qualification will be required.
This role would suit someone currently working as an H&S Coordinator, EHS Advisor, EHS coordinator, SHEQ Coordinator, or someone with an IOSH qualification and a training background who is looking to move into a more generalist role
