We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BI Analyst with expertise in Power BI and Tableau, possessing a solid background in payments data analysis and basic data engineering skills. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in transforming raw data into actionable insights, enabling informed decision-making within the organization.
The impact you will have:
1. Data Analysis and Visualization: Utilize Power BI and Tableau to analyze large datasets and create visually compelling and interactive dashboards. Develop reports and visualizations that provide meaningful insights into payments data, identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies.
2. Payments Data Expertise: Demonstrate a deep understanding of payments data, including transactional data, customer behavior, and financial metrics. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to extract valuable insights from payments-related datasets. Apply basic data engineering skills to clean, transform, and prepare raw data for analysis. Work closely with data engineering teams to ensure the availability and quality of data for analytical purposes. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their analytical requirements and translate them into effective data visualizations. Work closely with other analysts and departments to share insights and contribute to a data-driven decision-making culture. Stay abreast of industry trends, tools, and best practices in data analysis, visualization, and data engineering.
What we're looking for:
1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science).
2. 2-3 years of proven experience as a Data Analyst, with a focus on payments data.
3. Expertise in Power BI and Tableau, with a strong portfolio showcasing data visualizations and dashboards.
4. Proficient in SQL and basic data engineering skills for data manipulation and transformation.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex datasets.
6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
7. Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience in the financial services or payment industry.
2. Familiarity with additional data visualization tools and languages (e.g., Python, R).
3. Certification in Power BI and Tableau.
