A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Audit Manager to join a well established 11 Partner Firm of Accountants in Loughton, paying a salary of up to £70,000 depending upon experience.
The firm has a diverse clientele that spans a multitude of sectors, with a particular focus on serving owner-managed businesses and their entrepreneur owners. As well as catering to UK subsidiaries of large international groups.
As an Audit Manager, you will be:
• Managing a portfolio of audit and accountancy assignments
• Job plan staff allocation on assignments
• Planning work, core work management and completion
• Attending meetings with clients
• Managing teams of staff on assignments
• Mentoring trainees
• Business development
• WIP and billing
You will ideally be:
• Qualified ACA/ACCA with good technical competence
• Solid audit experience on a mix of clients and industries
• Experience within a Mid-Tier Practice is essential
• Proven track record of portfolio management
• Knowledge of current UK GAAP accounting standards
• Experience of managing and developing a team is essential
• IT literate including Sage/Xero and CaseWare experience an advantage.
• Candidates must have a car and a full, clean driving license.
