Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager to oversee our daily operations and ensure the smooth running of our office environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and a knack for team management. This role is pivotal in maintaining an efficient office while supporting various administrative functions.
Duties and Responsibilities
Administration
1. Contact with Sub Contractors and suppliers and maintaining up to date records.
2. Ensure company vehicles & drivers are insured and roadworthy.
3. Maintain all client portals & accreditations (Constructionline etc).
4. Maintain all company policies.
5. Complete customer PQQ’s.
Human Resources
1. Liaise with HR Initiatives on any potential HR issues with personnel.
2. Set up and manage employees on Breathe, Admin Induction & obtaining all new starter information and maintain up to date records.
Employee Training
1. Ensure training plans/schedules for employees are up to date and line managers are maintaining meetings and documenting results and updating actions as needed to ensure all employees' continual development.
2. Maintain company skills matrix.
3. Ensure site audit schedule is up to date.
Health & Safety
1. Monitor H&S performance (annual audit).
2. Organise audit packs for SSIP accreditations.
3. Ensure CSCS cards are valid.
4. Ensure all H&S records are up to date.
5. Ensure risk assessments for office & site environments are current.
Finance
1. Oversee all purchase orders & invoicing within the company.
2. Manage credit control and chase aged debtors.
3. Ensure the bank is reconciled within Xero each day.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
2. Good IT skills and experience.
3. Excellent Microsoft Office software experience.
Minimum Experience
1. Previous experience as a manager in a busy office (5+ years).
2. Experience in organisational and planning within business.
3. Experience of HR regulations.
4. Experience of H&S regulations.

Pay: £29,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
