Job Description Are you passionate about fostering a positive workplace culture and providing expert guidance on employee relations? We are looking for an Employee Relations (ER) Advisor to join our team. The role’s primary focus will be on promoting a positive working relationships, resolving conflict and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, partnering with stakeholders to support within a defined geography. This is a Hybrid role with 3 days based at our site in Heanor or Pontefract however travel across our UK sites will also be required due to business and team needs. To provide timely, practical and proactive employee relations support and advice to employees / Managers across the UK, including policy interpretation, conflict resolution and performance management. Investigate and resolve employee complaints and grievances, ensuring consistently fair and impartial handling of cases. Conduct thorough and objective investigations into employee relations issues, gathering the relevant information as necessary. Collaborate with managers / HRBP’s to address performance related issues and develop appropriate corrective action plans Mediate and facilitate discussions between employees and management to resolve conflicts and improve working relationships Process absence management cases Ensure cases are resolved in a timely manner Collaborate with HR team Maintain the accuracy and up to date status of cases Offer advice and support around family friendly policies including maternity and paternity leave. Support Managers with capability reviews Support on any management of ET’s or ACAS conciliation claims Provide support with change management activities – ie. Restructures Stay updated with employment laws and regulations, providing guidance to ensure compliance and mitigate legal risks. Maintain accurate and confidential employee relations documentation and records
