As an Online Business Lead, you will set the Online commercial strategy for George Clothing Womenswear products, driving sales and profit for the channel, managing the product onboarding process and online journey. Leading the team to ensure we deliver an easy, fast and friendly online customer experience on site. Working in partnership with strategic, digital and trading teams to define and execute the online strategy for Womenswear.
* Leading the team responsible for online sales and profit targets for Womenswear product categories.
* Develop, shape and deliver departmental ranging strategies to maximise customer demand whilst growing profit contribution for the channel short to long term.
* Oversee the Product onboarding process ensuring that all product information is customer focused, highlights key selling features and is accurate.
* Responsible for visual merchandising across the site, showcasing the product to make shopping easy ensuring all taxonomy, categories and PLP's are effectively merchandised.
* Champion end to end execution for all activity ensuring full availability and optimum customer experience onsite. Working closely with core trading teams, and marketing teams to manage in-season trading.
* Be an expert on our online customer and competitor landscape, understand behaviour to build relevant activity plans that maximise commercial benefit, focusing on customer acquisition, retention, and brand loyalty.
* Look for opportunities to increase conversion rate, cross sales and drive bigger baskets.
* Understand and utilise the insight from analytical merchandising, industry insight and market data to deliver a visual merchandising approach that maximises sales.
* Play a key role for the Online Trade & Merchandise team in relevant key strategic projects and meetings.
