Main duties of the job The Chief Operating Officer will lead the Trust's operational delivery, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred, cost-effective services that are innovative and responsive -to the needs of our patients. The Chief Operating Officer will work closely with the Chief Nurse and Chief Medical Officer to improve the quality, safety and experience of patients in the Trust's care. The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is also a full member of the Trust Board of Directors and will provide advice to the Chief Executive and Board of Directors on all operational issues and lead operational collaboration within the organisation and across the wider Healthcare Community, recognising the current changing and challenging healthcare climate.
