Following successful funding bid to develop the Adult Neurodevelopmental service in Gloucestershire, the Adult Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders Service (ADHD) are looking to recruit 4 Clinical Specialists NMP into our now expanding team., Working as a full-time diagnostic clinician, you would be expected to offer assessments & medication reviews for individuals referred to the Adult ADHD service within the Gloucestershire locality. The successful candidate would be based at The Pavilion in Cheltenham and be able to attend bases in the local area.
* Complete screening, assessment and review clinics (including medication reviews and associated physical monitoring) as part of the ADHD clinical pathway, providing pharmacological and non-pharmacological evidence-based interventions
* Liaising with Primary Care
* Demonstrate enhanced competence in complex decision making, assessment and the management of clinical needs
* Collect and collate data / information effectively for the purpose of audit, research and service performance
* Mentor, supervise and teach qualified and unqualified staff including students
* Work in partnership with service users, carers and other agencies to ensure effectiveness of outcome, Contribute to the specialist ADHD diagnostic assessment process for adults over 18 years
* Demonstrate enhanced competence in complex decision making, assessment and the management of clinical needs
* Collect and collate data / information effectively for the purpose of audit, research and service performance
To develop a work plan that outlines and details specific responsibilities related to the role. Examples include:
* Service development
* Complete assessment and review clinics (including medication reviews and associated physical monitoring) as part of the ADHD clinical pathway, providing pharmacological and non-pharmacological evidence-based interventions
* Education and Training to GP's, statutory and non-statutory agencies
