J3A Recruitment is proud to be working with a leading UK infrastructure business specialising in the delivery of vital projects across various sectors.
In light of a healthy workload and upcoming AMP 8, they seek a skilled Commissioning Engineer to assist the site team in supervising and commissioning water sector asset improvements.
Key Responsibilities
* Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation (MEICA) installations are prevalent in delivering water sector asset improvements.
* You will plan, coordinate and resource off- and on-site process and MEICA commissioning activities.
* Work closely with the Production Team and other subject experts to develop a detailed Commissioning Delivery Plan.
About the Role
As a Commissioning Engineer, you will:
* Collaborate with Project Teams and Yorkshire Water to create Commissioning Plans during Project Brief/Outline Design stage.
* Establish robust commissioning processes and procedures reflecting company requirements and facilitate exceptional commissioning performance.
* Provide technical expertise and deliver all commissioning activities in collaboration with Project Managers.
* Ensure high-quality Operation and Maintenance Manuals are produced, and training for Yorkshire Water personnel is conducted.
Requirements
To be considered, you must have:
* A strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical and chemical engineering commissioning, preferably in the water sector.
* A minimum HNC qualification in a mechanical, electrical or chemical engineering subject.
* A professional qualification is desirable.
* A SMSTS safety qualification and CSCS card.
