HRUC (Harrow, Richmond and Uxbridge Colleges) is a successful and ambitious College Group, which brings together three colleges across five vibrant campuses.
You will support the Head of Employability and Assistant Director for Enhanced Skills and Employability in achieving HRUC's targets for work experience, industry placements, and employability. Working closely with academic departments and corporate partnerships, you will develop and deliver innovative strategies to enhance student employability, focusing on developing relationships with local employers and industries.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the development and implementation of employability strategies, working closely with academic departments and corporate partnerships.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with local employers and industries to secure work experience, industry placements, and graduate employment opportunities.
* Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of employability initiatives, providing regular progress reports to the Head of Employability and Assistant Director for Enhanced Skills and Employability.
* Collaborate with colleagues to identify and address barriers to student employability, developing targeted interventions to improve outcomes.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Business, HR).
* Proven experience in employability or related fields, preferably within further education or industry.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing competing deadlines.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data to inform decision-making.
Salary:
£45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
