We have partnered with one of the fastest growing DTC brands in the UK who are looking to hire a Commercial Analyst to work closely with the Senior Leadership Team. You’ll play a key role in driving data-driven decision-making across the organisation working with digital, marketing and B2B teams to deliver actionable insights. You will play a key role ion supporting strategic growth initiatives.
What you’ll be doing
Reporting into the Head of Finance, you’ll analyse business performance alongside creating forecasts that will feed into the SLT, and play a key role in decision making processes.
Key responsibilities
* Delivering data driven insights including analysing sales, pricing and margin data across all channels.
* Ecommerce Performance Analysis: You’ll report on daily, weekly and monthly performance providing insights and actionable recommendations to improve business performance.
* Support Demand Planning and Inventory management.
* Forecasting: You will develop yearly sales forecasts using KPI’s.
* Development & ownership of Dashboards: you’ll be tasked with creating and maintaining dashboards ensuring the SLT have timely and access to actionable insights.
* Reporting: You’ll play a key role in ensuring reporting tools are up to date and provide real-time information.Constantly looking to improve and innovate business processes and tools.
What we are looking for
* You’ll have 2-3 years experience in a data-driven role, ideally within a D2C or similar omnichannel brand.
* Top rate data analysis tools including Excel, SQL or Python with demonstrable experience using BI tools.
* Knowledge and experience of Demand Planning and Inventory Management.
* Start-up hustle. You will be comfortable with the fast paced nature of working in a start up and spinning lots of plates.
* Highly commercial. You’ll be able to spot patterns in data and turn this into actions and business recommendations.
* First rate communication skills. You’ll be happy working across teams and able to present insights clearly to different stakeholders in the business.
