We are now recruiting for a Team Leader to join our team at Great Bear in Lutterworth on a full time and permanent basis.
Job Description
Shift: 4ON 4OFF Days.
Salary: £32,925 per annum.
* Assist Shift Manager in the management of teams to motivate them, ensure all aspects of Health & Safety are monitored, enforce Company policies and procedures, and ensure that all product is picked and dispatched to the highest standard in line with or exceeding KPI’s.
* Manage and motivate the shift team ensuring that productivity and service KPI’s are achieved or exceeded.
* Ensure the highest possible levels of Health, Safety and Hygiene are upheld so that legislative and quality requirements can be complied with, and ensure relevant paperwork is completed and retained.
* Deliver communication briefings so that all shifts are aware of Company and local issues, enabling employees to offer input/improvements and feel involved.
* Manage Goods Inwards area to ensure that receipts are made quickly and without damaging goods so that stock is available to satisfy orders.
* Develop all team members to maximize their contributions to the Warehouse and plan for succession.
* Carry out and lead investigations.
* Enforce and adhere to all Company policies and procedures.
* Manage case pick area and ensure all KPI’s are achieved.
Qualifications
* Computer literate with knowledge of Excel.
* Confident in dealing with people at all levels.
* Adaptable and methodical approach to work, training, and working hours.
* Conscientious and reliable.
* Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
* Effectively prioritize workload to meet set deadlines.
* Ability to work as part of a team or individually.
* Previous experience leading a team preferred but not essential.
