The Test Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the quality of products and services released to the firm by undertaking functional and non-functional testing as part of a small test team. They will create test scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage working with business analysts and users to understand use cases and ensure the most appropriate test coverage. The Team: This role forms part of the core QA / Test team in the Legal Productivity Applications function, working closely with developers, systems analysts and 3rd party suppliers to ensure the products are delivered in a consistent and high quality way, in accordance with the guidelines set by the Test Centre of Excellence (TCoE). What will you do: Execute test scripts and record testing outcomes according to the test plan created by the Test Manager. Analyse requirements, solution specifications, and carry out test design to ensure test coverage. Creating test scripts in Azure DevOps for all test phases and cross-referencing them to requirements and scope. Identify issues & bugs through test execution, record & track bugs through to resolution, and report on test results. Support the Test Manager in the creation of test plans and schedules as required. Support User Acceptance testing groups in understanding their roles training them on test execution and collecting test data. Quality assuring project test artefacts created by 3rd party vendors. Assisting in the creation of test reports. Build automated test scripts using LeapWork. What we are looking for: Proven experience in delivering prescribed tests, creating test scripts, and undertaking both functional and non-functional testing. Familiarity with test management software and tools (Azure DevOps). Problem-solving skills with the ability to think ‘Outside of the box’ as and when required. ISTQB/ISEB Software Testing to foundation level or equivalent qualifications or experience would be an advantage Previous experience of creating automation test scripts. A good understanding of risk-based testing Ability to work collaboratively in a small team environment. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. The ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues at all levels in both verbal and written communications Exposure to and understanding of legal technologies an advantage Able to work effectively as part of a diverse and inclusive team. Able to develop professional relationships through diverse networks. Flexibility and a willingness to work additional hours on occasion as required.
