Year 5 Teacher
Blackburn (BB1)
Full-time (Monday-Friday)
£140-£180 per day
Start date: April 2024
Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit an experienced Year 5 Teacher to work on a full-time basis within a ‘Good’ Primary School in Blackburn (BB1). The role is to start in April 2024 until at least July 2025, with the possibility of extension for the right candidate.
The incoming Year 5 teacher will need to take on full-time responsibilities including:
1. Planning
2. Marking
3. Data entry
4. Continual assessments
You would be expected to attend weekly staff meetings and relevant twilight sessions during the term. The Head Teacher is willing to consider NQTs as well as experienced teachers for this role.
The individual appointed must have experience within a Primary School setting and hold a proven track record of raising attainment within Key Stage 2. The successful candidate should be of a nurturing nature and capable of raising attainment.
Additional requirements:
1. Recent school references are a necessity
2. Full-time, Monday to Friday with PPA time included
3. Class of 28 mixed ability students
4. Uphold the school's behaviour policy
5. Experience of teaching mixed ability classes
