Sheffield Mind is looking for a Corporate Relations & Fundraising Manager (CRFM) to play a key role in identifying and cultivating strategic corporate partnerships, to develop sustainable revenue to support SheffieldMind. In addition to generating income from donations and sponsorship, the post holder will work with business contacts to promote our commercial Revive services which include an Employee Assistance Programme, Workplace Wellbeing training and bespoke support packages. The CRFM will also work with partners to identify and develop opportunities for in-kind support and volunteering. The CRFM will also work with partners to identify and develop opportunities for in-kind support and volunteering. The position requires a driven individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills, a warm and approachable manner and the ability to build and maintain long-lasting relationships with potential and existing corporate partners. You will be expected to build relationships with people at all levels, both internally and externally. You will work with established contacts but also be required to conduct desk research to identify potential leads and understand business aims and objectives. You will work closely with the CEO and alongside the Business Development Manager and Senior Management Team, to double Sheffield Mind's fundraised income in the next financial year (this equates to approx. 50k from corporate contacts). The successful applicant will also receive ongoing support and regular supervision from their line manager, together with day-to-day support from the Business Development Manager and Sheffield Mind colleagues. Main Duties Develop and manage relationships with key decision-makers in local companies to secure and strengthen collaborations and to promote services such as training, counselling, wellbeing services and group support and supervision. Research and identify prospects from the local business community whose values align with our charity's mission and vision. Carry out research of business sectors to establish potential contacts, corporate social responsibility objectives and philanthropic giving Develop sector specific offers to suite the needs and interests of the workforce/business type Represent Sheffield Mind at business network meetings, commercial conferences and business AGMs Develop and deliver introductory sessions such as ‘Lunch and Learn' to introduce Shefield Mind to companies that are not familiar with our work Work with corporate partners to develop tailored proposals that demonstrate the value of partnering with our charity and the impact that local investment and support can make to a local charity such as Sheffield Mind Maintain regular communication with corporate partners to ensure their ongoing engagement and satisfaction. Manage partner expectations to ensure that commitments are met and both parties continue to benefit and to get something positive from the relationship. Work closely with the Business Development Manager to develop and achieve ambitious fundraising and partnership development goals and also to build on and develop the reputation of the charity, by engaging in promotion and social media coverage. Identify and create opportunities to extend partnerships and establish long-term legacies. Lead on the delivery of partnership work by coordinating with internal teams and maintaining strong relationships with corporate partners. Administrative Skills Maintain detailed administrative records, including partnership agreements, donation records, communications and testimonials. Liaise with the Business Development Manager to ensure that logos / contact info / company links are prominently displayed on Sheffield Mind website Work with the Business Development Manager and Senior Finance Manager to generate and review regular reports that indicate progress to date Ensure that information is shared with Business Development Manager and promotional intern to ensure that local business engagement is promoted on social media Use a CRM database to manage and report on corporate partnerships and to maintain up to date and accurate records in accordance with GDPR and ensuring communication preferences are observed Event & Campaign Support Collaborate with the Business Development Manager to plan and deliver events, campaigns, and initiatives that engage corporate partners and increase opportunities for giving / selling. Promote events, activities and merchandise to corporate partners to maximise engagement and sales Promote participation opportunities such as Sheffield Half Marathon to local business contacts Contribute to planning and development of plans and ideas for maximising income generation Ensure corporate partners have meaningful opportunities to support Sheffield Mind's services and objectives. Other Tasks Liaise on behalf of and represent Sheffield Mind as appropriate. Actively promote and ensure good equal opportunities practice and work in an anti-oppressive manner. Any other tasks that can be reasonably expected that are within the scope and spirit of the job. Support and contribute to the charitable and fundraising work of Sheffield Mind as appropriate.
