Permanent Cleaning Assistant - Allan Water House, Stirling
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the hard working Facilities Management Team in Stirling Council.
The post will be based at our offices in Allan Water House and will provide a professional cleaning service for 12.5 hours per week. Cleaning is required to be covered from Monday - Friday between the hours of 5.00pm and 7.30pm (2.5 hours per day) and paid at Stirling Council Grade 1 - currently £12.67 per hour.
Applicants should be capable of lifting heavy items, using cleaning machinery including electric buffing machines, scrubber dryers and vacuum cleaners. You should also be able to clean surfaces to head height and be prepared to work alone. Applicants will also require a basic working knowledge of IT and be willing to undertake training to allow them to utilise Stirling Council online training and human resources IT applications. Personal protective equipment, tools and training will be provided.
The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children. If your application is progressed after the interview, you will be asked to complete the form and have your details verified.
