An exciting opportunity to work within the Endoscopy unit at St Richards Hospital.
* The post holder will be required to provide a high standard of patient care and service within the Endoscopy Unit across the Trust.
* The post holder is expected to be an effective member of the Endoscopy Team - responsible for assessing, admitting, assisting in procedures, recovery, infusions, and discharging of patients.
* The post holder is required to work as part of the Team committed to delivering and improving high standards of Endoscopy Care within the Trust.
Main duties of the job
* Telephone & face-to-face Pre Assessment
* Working in all Endoscopy procedure rooms with support & training if required, including all aspects of the role within the room
* Discharge patients, provide Anti-coagulation & Diabetic advice to patients Pre procedure
* Recoveries both Male & Female
* Medication administration/Infusion upon completion of training & support if required
* Admissions (can be for more than one room)
* Undertaking lists in all areas of the Hospital
* Moving to another area if the need of the Trust requires this
* Working over allocated time if the patient is compromised and cannot be discharged or moved to another area.

* Registered Nurse
