Qualifications:
* Registered Nurse: Must be a registered nurse with active NMC registration.
* Experienced Home Manager: Proven experience as a Registered Home Manager within the care sector.
* Track Record with CQC Ratings: Demonstrated success in achieving and maintaining “Good” or “Outstanding” CQC ratings.
* Leadership and People Skills: Strong leadership skills with a commitment to nurturing and empowering a cohesive, dedicated team.
* Commitment to Quality: Deep commitment to maintaining high standards of person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver Resident-Centred Care: Ensure every resident receives compassionate, personalised care tailored to their individual needs in a homely and safe environment.
* Lead with Empathy and Expertise: Foster a culture that encourages collaboration, empathy, and a positive attitude across all staff. Lead by example to inspire dedication and professionalism, promoting a strong work ethic and a supportive environment where each team member feels motivated to deliver their best.
* Build Strong Relationships: Work closely with residents, families, stakeholders, and the larger care community to foster a network of trust and support. Communicate openly and transparently, addressing concerns, celebrating achievements, and ensuring that all voices are heard.
* Manage Resources Effectively: Oversee the operational aspects of the home, ensuring that resources are managed efficiently to maintain a high standard of care. This includes overseeing staffing, budgeting, and facility maintenance, ensuring the home remains a comfortable, welcoming place for all residents.
* Drive Compliance and Standards: Ensure that the home operates in compliance with all regulatory standards, including maintaining “Good” or “Outstanding” ratings with CQC.
* Support Staff Development: Invest in the growth and development of the care team through training, mentorship, and performance management.
