You will be responsible for the technical delivery of high specification digital and analogue circuits through concept, design, validation and verification. This is a diverse role covering several competencies within electrical engineering, printed circuit board design, system integration, manufacturing, test and validation/verification. The ideal candidate will have experience in one or more of these areas.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
* Technical ownership and delivery of digital and analogue circuit design through the entire development cycle including concept, schematic capture, PCB design, manufacturing, test, and validation/verification.
* Provide engineering support to a multi-disciplinary team including FPGA, embedded firmware, and mechanical engineers.
* Interface with suppliers and other engineers to support system/subsystem level requirements capture and generation.
* Simulate and evaluate circuits using LTSPICE or similar.
* Utilize various lab equipment tools to analyze, troubleshoot, verify, and repair electrical equipment.
* Support manufacturing through troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and supply chain issue resolution.
* Solve complex engineering problems individually and as a team.
* Support RTCA DO-160G environmental testing activities, particularly with EMI/EMC and high voltage event protection.
* Support TSO C153A design assurance activities.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
* Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required with 2+ years of experience required.
* Microcontroller, processor, and/or FPGA system design experience required.
* Circuit simulation tool (LTSPICE, MATLAB, or Simulink) experience required.
* Proficiency in part generation, schematic capture, high speed PCB design with Cadence Allegro or Orcad required.
* Experience with laboratory test equipment required.
* Knowledge of advance HDI and high speed PCB design methods preferred.
* Knowledge of DC-DC power supply topologies and design preferred.
* Knowledge of power electronics preferred.
* Knowledge of EMI/EMC design and testing preferred.
* Knowledge of circuit protection techniques and designs preferred.
* Knowledge or motor control schemes preferred.
* Knowledge of radio frequency electrical design preferred.
* Knowledge of embedded firmware process and languages preferred.
* Experience with PCB manufacturing, quality control, supply chain resolution, and testing (JTAG and functional) preferred.
* RTCA DO-160G environmental testing experience preferred.
* Excellent writing and presentation skills required.
* Motivated and ability to solve problems under own initiative.
