Job Title: Registered Manager - Children's Residential
Location: Trafford, UK
Salary: £60,000 per annum
Employment Type: Permanent
We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to oversee our children's residential facility in Trafford. As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and operations of the facility, ensuring the highest standards of care and support are provided to the children in our care.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Overall management and leadership of the children's residential facility
2. Develop and implement policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements
3. Ensure the safety and welfare of all children in the facility
4. Manage and oversee a team of care staff, providing guidance and support as needed
5. Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with all regulatory bodies
6. Act as the main point of contact for external agencies and stakeholders
7. Manage the budget and resources of the facility, ensuring efficient and effective use
8. Work closely with the senior management team to drive continuous improvement and maintain high standards of care
Requirements:
1. Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Registered Manager in a children's residential setting
2. NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management or equivalent qualification
3. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations
4. Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
6. Strong organizational and time-management skills
7. Ability to work under pressure and make effective decisions
8. Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as required
