Main duties of the job We're looking for an enthusiastic & dedicated Practice educator to join the Cardiovascular and Thoracic team at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (UHS). You will be an integral part of the team helping support the delivery of the divisional education programmes for heart failure, heart disease, cardiac, vascular and thoracic surgery departments.This is a great opportunity to help with the way courses are delivered to new and existing staff, whilst working in partnership with the divisional education and practice lead, lead educator, the multi professional team and other practice educators to improve acuity practice, clinical nursing and service delivery. You will also be expected to work clinically with staff on the wards, providing teaching at the bedside and supporting their development.
