Job Title: SEN Tutor Salary: £25 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide individualised support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Create and implement tailored learning plans to meet the specific needs of each student Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance students' academic and personal development Assess students' progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for students Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification Experience working with students with SEN Understanding of SEN policies and best practises Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring students with SEN Knowledge and Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs Strong organisational and time management skills Empathy and patience when working with students with SEN Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs Experience using assistive technologies in teaching Working Conditions: The role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis. The tutor will primarily work with students at educational institutions or in a home setting in Oxfordshire.
