Market Research Manager - (9 month Fixed Term Contract)
GSK is currently hiring a Market Research Manager to support and challenge business decisions with robust primary market research insights. You will be responsible for guiding, informing, and influencing strategic decisions relating to marketing strategy and tactics. You need to be able to lead without authority to influence changes in strategic direction. We are looking for someone who will be able to do this through the provision of comprehensive Market Research insights across the UK.
In this role, you will report to the Business Insights Director and will be responsible for co-developing with brand teams a market research plan using the most appropriate agencies and methodologies to meet business objectives .

In this role you will
* Ensure that market research “lives” and is acted upon by marketing.
* Deliver analysis and recommendations to sales, marketing, government affairs, and the leadership team supporting insights into patient pathways, customer perceptions, behaviors, and outcomes.
* Understand the business question and recommend an appropriate agency and type of market research which will best answer the question.
* Project manage the plan, design, and implementation for market research projects to ensure all appropriate governance procedures have been followed.
* Prioritize projects and manage the expectations of the business (at all levels) in terms of timelines and feasibility of requests.
* Act as the point of contact for market research within the UK/ROI business for internal stakeholders and market research agencies.
* Provide guidance to your matrix team members on project-related issues.
* Ensure all market research is conducted within the appropriate internal and external guidelines and challenge the process to simplify and improve efficiency of market research
Why you?
Basic Qualifications & Skills:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
* University degree in Business or Science
* Significant and varied experience working in Market Research in either a n agency or client-side environment
* Exposure or experience working in Market Research in an R&D, life sciences, pharmaceutical or other highly regulated industry
* Proven track record in commissioning and managing market research activity.
* Good understanding of different types of market research approaches and how market research should be used within the commercial context.
* Experience l eading and managing market research projects.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
Please note the following skills are not necessary, just preferred, if you do not have them, please still apply :
* Market Research experience in Respiratory, Oncology, and Specialist diseases.
