Main Responsibilities: Take the lead in preparing financial statements, including profit & loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow reviews. Manage key reconciliations, covering bank transactions, VAT, CIS, PAYE, and National Insurance contributions. Oversee prompt and precise payroll administration, ensuring accurate reporting of obligations. Track financial performance, offering insights and strategic recommendations to senior management. Coordinate with auditors to guarantee adherence to regulatory guidelines. Improve financial processes and systems to support continued business expansion. What You’ll Need: Fully or partially qualified Accountant (AAT Level 3 or higher preferred). Strong understanding of financial compliance, reporting, and payroll administration. Advanced Excel proficiency and familiarity with digital financial platforms. Background in a commercial finance setting, ideally within a mid-sized company. A proactive mindset with excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical abilities.
