We have an exciting opportunity to be able to offer a permanent contract for 30 hours per week. We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual, who has extensive experience within the Podiatry field. The successful candidate will be responsible for a highly specialist podiatry portfolio in an agreed area of expertise, which will include provision of expert advice to podiatrists, senior clinicians, MDT across LSCFT and working closely with the Acute Trust.
The Podiatry service provides assessment and treatment to service users referred with a variety of Podiatric conditions. The successful candidate will need to be able to manage a clinical caseload of patients with highly complex and/or additional podiatric needs. Also be able to demonstrate sound clinical knowledge and skills, have good communication & organisational abilities, and have a positive attitude to the care of the patients under the care of the Podiatry service.
The team is multi-disciplinary and works closely with other Community and Acute teams- covering a wide range of agencies.
It is desirable for applicants to have experience of working at Band 7 level.
A robust programme of support, supervision and development will be offered to the successful candidate upon appointment.
