Job Overview: As a Quality Control Inspector at Roto Factory, you will be the final line of defence in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality. This critical role involves inspecting and verifying the products manufactured on-site, while maintaining a strong presence on the production floor. You will manage quality control processes, promote safety, and collaborate with the production team to ensure seamless operations. Your contributions will directly impact customer satisfaction and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest standards of health, safety, environmental, quality, and product compliance are maintained at all times. Integrate these standards into daily operations, reinforcing their importance across the workforce. Inspection & Verification: Conduct thorough inspections of all products manufactured in the factory, ensuring compliance with quality requirements and resolving any issues before they reach the customer. Production Coordination: Work closely with production operators to perform necessary quality and safety checks, ensuring smooth operations and a safe working environment for all staff. Reject & Rework Management: Manage and oversee the disposition of all rejected or reworked products, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up actions are taken. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the development and implementation of new systems, procedures, and process improvements within the quality department. Support ongoing cross-training initiatives to enhance team skills and versatility. Training & Development: Assist in the ongoing training and development of your role and personnel, ensuring that all team members are equipped with the knowledge to maintain the highest standards of quality. Problem Solving: Support root cause analysis for all quality-related issues, facilitating corrective actions to ensure continuous improvement. Compliance Culture: Champion a compliance culture throughout the organization, promoting integrity, professionalism, and accountability in all actions. Collaboration & Support: Work closely with Operations Management to carry out additional tasks and projects as needed, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Key Requirements: Education: GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics, or relevant experience in a manufacturing/production environment. Experience: Previous experience in a quality control or manufacturing role, ideally within the plastics industry. Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Strong practical problem-solving skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Personal Attributes: Excellent attention to detail, a proactive approach, and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
