We are seeking a Maintenance Technician for our client in Sturminster Newton.
Job Role
Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing machinery and equipment across their site in Sturminster Newton. This role ensures the continuous and efficient operation of our production lines and facilities by conducting regular maintenance and addressing any mechanical or electrical issues that rise.
The Maintenance Technician needs to be able to work in a fast paced, flexible environment and will be able to quickly pick up the knowledge required to service a variety of equipment, some of bespoke design.
The Maintenance Technician needs to abide by all company policies and in accordance with the guidelines laid out in the Employee Handbook.

Comply with all Health & safety procedures, instructions etc and promote and ensure their compliance by others
Maintenance and Repair
· Perform routine and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
· Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and pneumatic issues.
· Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
· Collaborate with the production team to minimise downtime and maintain production schedules.
· Assist in ensuring accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs are maintained.
· Maintain stocks of spare parts and tools in a tidy and organised manner.
· Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment efficiency and reliability.
· Assist in maintenance and upgrading of buildings and facilities.
General
Performance of specific processes/tasks determined by supervision/management towards the accomplishment of the above
Assist in Manufacturing roles when necessary.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements
Relevant Technical qualification or certification is a plus.
Vocational training or apprenticeship in a relevant field preferred.
Relevant certifications (e.g. Electrical certification) are advantageous.
Previous years of experience in maintenance or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
