We have an exciting opportunity in the Urgent and Emergency Care CYP&F Service for a motivated leader to join our team. The successful applicant must be transformational in their practice and be skilled at developing quality services that are coproduced with stakeholders - including children, young people and their families.
Managing people, leading on projects, quality management and service design are key areas to showcase your knowledge and skills (some may be transferrable).
This is a fixed term - 6 month contract. Please ensure you have permission from your line manager if you are applying for this post as a secondment.
Main duties of the job
Support the Head of Clinical Service in the operational delivery of safe and effective clinical services, providing leadership, support, supervision, appraisal and performance management to qualified and support staff, liaising closely with other health teams, Social Services and Voluntary Agencies to maximise service provision and optimise patient care.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Educated to diploma/degree level and registered with the appropriate professional body registration (RMN)
* To possess specialist knowledge across a range of mental health presentations in young people underpinned by theory
* Teaching qualification
* Masters level qualification or equivalent short courses and/or experience in relevant area
Knowledge
* To possess specialist knowledge across a range of mental health presentations underpinned by theory
* Knowledge of social and mental health legislation and ability to apply knowledge appropriately
* Knowledge on the delivery of a clinical services for young people.
* Knowledge of the recording of service users information
* Experience of developing specialist programmes of care/care packages
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft office
* Knowledge of undertaking surveys or audits
* Experience of regularly undertaking research
* Experience of working with commissioners
* Experience of service planning
Experience
* Experience of managing a multi-disciplinary team or service
* At least 3 years' experience at band 6 or equivalent
* Experience of planning and organising complex activities or programmes requiring formulation and adjustment.
* Experience of the direct delivery of a clinical service
* Experience of developing specialist programmes of care/care packages
* Experience of proposing policy or service changes which impacts beyond own area
* Responsibility for policies and the impact on other community and voluntary services
* Experience of day to day management in allocating, placing and supervising staff or students

Salary: £50,952 to £57,349 per annum pro rata
