Come join us on the journey Job Purpose Reporting to the Chief Sales Officer, you will play a critical role on the sales management team by implementing scalable solutions that boost productivity and fuel business growth. You will manage sales performance metrics, forecasting, and reporting, while delivering key process improvements. You’ll leverage our CRM to build reporting tools, design sales compensation schemes, and analyse the opportunity pipeline. What you'll do Define, build and support the implementation of the sales remuneration scheme. Design dashboards and regular KPI reports. Evaluate sales data across teams and products to identify trends and opportunities. Use data to support strategic decision making in the sales team. Production and presentation of regular opportunity pipeline and sales forecasts. Monitor and track performance of team members, highlighting key challenges and recommendations for improvement to senior management. Develop an in depth understanding of CRM, its supporting processes and define future operational requirements. Elevate team performance through the sharing of best practice and increasing process adoption. Establish governance and quality management procedures to ensure consistency and integrity of underlying performance data. Collaborate and interact with wider Defaqto teams including Finance and Customer Success. Line manage one person. What you will need to succeed Prior experience in a Sales Operations role. Track record of supporting sales teams to deliver commercial success. Ideally degree educated, or can demonstrate equivalent cognitive ability. Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret trends and communicate strategic insights. Prior experience of partnering with sales teams to deliver commercial success. Excellent written and project management skills with demonstrated ability to effectively manage time, prioritise tasks and work to agreed deadlines. An expert problem-solver, renowned for leveraging data to drive pivotal business strategies. Proficient in the use of CRM and other sales technology applications. Adaptable, entrepreneurial, and quick to act, thriving in dynamic, growth-focused setting. We'd prefer you to have line management experience but this isn't essential. Location Based from the leafy market town of Haddenham in Buckinghamshire, you'll need to be in the office around once a week as a minimum. There's plenty of free parking onsite and we're less than 10 minutes' walk from the Haddenham & Thame Parkway railway station.
