This newly created role reflects Yeovil College’s continued commitment to innovation, curriculum growth, and the use of the latest technologies. You will lead and deliver high-quality teaching and assessment across electrical and hydrogen engineering, covering both theoretical principles and hands-on skills such as soldering, crimping, and testing. Teaching learners from Level 2 through to Higher Education Level 4 and above, your remit includes managing a caseload of learners and overseeing all aspects of their learning journey on our campus and at employer sites. You’ll play a vital role in building strong relationships with employers, coordinating bespoke training, and guiding apprentices through tailored programmes. Knowledge of emerging technologies such as hydrogen systems is also welcomed, as Yeovil College continues to expand into this exciting and rapidly evolving area. What we're looking for:
1. Knowledge of a range of electrical and electronic principles including practical skills.
2. A level 4 qualification in Engineering.
3. A teaching qualification or willingness to work towards.
4. A passion for supporting students to learn and develop new skills.
5. The ability to work successfully within a team.
6. Proactive in initiating, developing and implementing new ideas and developments.
7. Excellent communication and organisational skills.

1. Annual Salary: £38,754 up to £44,212 depending on experience.
2. Full-time position, 37 hours per week, all year round.
