Role Description:
The Talent Management Coordinator role at Symphony is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in gaining the foundational experience critical to a successful career in human resources. This role plays an important part in the hiring and onboarding phases of the talent lifecycle and will also get exposure to broader talent initiatives. The ideal candidate will have the ability to convey Symphony’s employee value proposition through all interactions with potential and existing employees and who can organize and coordinate multiple initiatives ensuring the candidate and employee experience is positive and impactful.
Responsibilities:
1. Source and screen candidates for open positions
2. Conduct phone interview screens and schedule interviews
3. Effectively liaise with candidates, internal stakeholders, external partners, and team members
4. Manage all aspects of the contractor management process, including vendor management, contractor onboarding and offboarding, and accurate data management
5. Maintain accurate talent acquisition data and documentation and provide regular reporting updates across teams and to management
6. Build and maintain relationships with universities and lead all initiatives associated with cultivating the early career talent pipeline
7. Manage all aspects of the firm’s internship program
8. Build and maintain relationships with DEIB and community partners to continue to create a diverse and inclusive employee experience and environment
9. Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding
10. Manage firm’s internal mobility program
11. Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
12. Degree in human resources management, business management, business studies, or a related field
13. 1+ year of experience in human resources
14. Strong understanding of human resources best practices
15. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
16. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
17. Proficiency in Google suite including documents, sheets, and slides
18. Self-motivated and able to identify and prioritize opportunities
19. Tenacious and resilient
20. Driven and determined to achieve targets and objectives
21. Attention to detail and accuracy
22. Confident and persuasive communicator
23. Demonstrable questioning and listening skills
24. Effective time management and organizational skills
25. CIPD certification is a plus
