Youll carry out inspections across various operational sites and advise on vehicle safety, compliance, and best practices. Were looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Fleet Engineer with a strong background in HGV maintenance and compliance. You should be confident in your technical expertise and able to engage effectively with colleagues at all levels of the business. Experience - Qualified to C&G Level 3 or equivalent, with competence in all aspects of HGV repair and maintenance to recognised industry standards - HGV driving licence preferred - CPC qualification desirable but not essential - Experience with waste management vehicles and within the industry is desirable - Computer literate and proficient in using MS Word and MS Excel Essential Knowledge - Satisfactory completion of the relevant Competency Management System modules - Completion of all other training as defined within the Training Matrix - A full and comprehensive understanding of the Heavy Goods Vehicle Inspection Manual - Awareness of the licensing system for operators of heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) - Understanding of DVSAs Guide to Maintaining Roadworthiness Commercial Goods Vehicles About Us We are FCC Environment, one of the UKs leading waste and resource management companies.
