Job summary The post holder will be based at the Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre and be responsible for supervising a small booking team and organising a number of Outpatient appointments in Radiology covering mainly X-Rays. This will include the receipt and processing of referrals in accordance with the Patient Access Policy and local Referral to Treatment (RTT) guidance. Dealing with all the ice mail to GP's and consultants. Adding information to Careflow and taking part in Appraisals within the team. Main duties of the job Communication : To liaise with wards, clinical staff, GP's and Trust support staff in person, via telephone and emails as and when necessary. Escalate patient queries, capacity problem and general issues to the role's line manager or relevant clinical staff as appropriate Patient Care: To show a caring and professional approach towards patients, relatives and carers.
