Registered Home Manager – Children’s Residential Home
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000
Hours: Full-time | Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children and young people? Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Home Manager to lead a children’s residential service, providing a safe, nurturing, and high-quality home for children and young people.

The Registered Manager will ensure the highest standards of care, compliance, and support for children and young people, empowering them to thrive and achieve their full potential.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience within a managerial role within a children’s residential setting
* Level 3/4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or an equivalent qualification).
* Achieved or willing to undertake the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Residential Care .
* Current or previous registration with Ofsted (Desirable)
* Strong understanding of the needs of children and young people who are looked after, including the impact of trauma, abuse, and attachment disruption.
* In-depth knowledge of children’s residential care regulations and safeguarding frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the home to provide a warm, stable, and therapeutic environment for children and young people.
* Ensure the service meets regulatory requirements, including The Children’s Homes Regulations (2015) and the Quality Standards.
* Support children and young people in meeting their emotional, physical, and developmental needs.
* Oversee safeguarding practices in line with Working Together to Safeguard Children (2023) and the Social Care Common Inspection Framework (SCCIF).
* Provide leadership and support to a dedicated staff team, promoting their professional growth and development.
* Build strong relationships with external professionals, including social workers and healthcare providers.
* Ensure the home operates effectively within set budgets and policies.
