Purpose of the role:
Supports the Technical team in the smooth and commercial delivery of the Ben Sherman product range to drive profitable sales growth. This role supports the management of the technical process to ensure that the collections, are developed and created to the standards of Ben Sherman clothing in terms of fit, performance and construction to business timeline, with the brand essence of the Ben Sherman Clothing, and in line with department and business expectations.
Accountable for:
* Assisting the Technical Manager and team in the fit process from concept to Ben Sherman final product.
* Assisting the technical team in managing the on time delivery of all departments and ensuring at least 98 % on time delivery.
* Assisting in the general admin of the technical team in terms of filing, sample storage and fit sessions.
Key Skills & Experience:
Essential –
* Minimum 1 to 1/2 years experience in same or similar role.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Excellent computer literacy in Excel /Outlook/Word
* Ability to prioritise and manage a work schedule whilst working to tight deadlines
* Ability to initiate and build strong relationships with supplier and other department members
* Ability to work as part of a team, but motivated and able to work independently.
* Understanding of the product function and critical path processes.
* Able to work with pace and energy.
* Ability to communicate clearly any quality related issues to the Product Development team, Head of Product and Head of Merchandising.
Desirable –
* Desire to learn understanding of garment construction, the fitting process and production processes.
* Passion for product and keen to learn.
* Positive and solutions orientated.
* Keen to progress within role
