The Role:
1. Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with complex needs
2. Assist with therapeutic and sensory-based activities to enhance learning and engagement
3. Use PECS, Makaton, and other communication aids to support non-verbal students
4. Support students with personal care, mobility, and daily routines where required
5. Help manage challenging behaviours using positive behaviour strategies
6. Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and therapists to implement tailored learning plans
Who We're Looking For:
1. Graduates in Psychology, Education, Mental Health, Social Work, or a related field (desirable but not essential)
2. Passionate individuals with a genuine interest in SEN, mental health, and child development
3. Strong communicators who can build rapport and trust with students
4. Resilient, patient, and adaptable team players
5. Prior experience with SEN, care work, or youth mentoring is advantageous but not essential - full training is provided!
