Senior Business Development Executive

Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic, driven & proactive Senior Business Development Executive to join our team and help grow our presence in London. This is a 100% proactive role, so if you have a passion for hospitality, sales, and building lasting relationships, this is the role for you!
This role requires a highly organised individual who is comfortable juggling multiple tasks and interacting with both senior leadership and the wider team. You will need to be proactive, resourceful, and able to maintain a productive and high-energy office environment.
Specifics of the role
Salary: Up to £35,000 + Bonus
Hours of work: 40

Key Responsibilities
* Event Sales: Promote and sell private hire packages, corporate events, and group bookings to maximise revenue.
* Industry Insights: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
* Sales Strategy & Outreach: Execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets with a focus on proactive sales strategies.
* Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, operations, and events teams to ensure seamless delivery of client experiences & expectations.
* Reporting: Monitor and report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve results.
* New Business: Identify and secure new business opportunities by targeting corporate clients, event planners, and high-net-worth individuals.
* Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business and referrals.
* Networking: Be a key member of the London hospitality networking scene – attending all events and creating opportunities post event.
Candidate Requirements:
* Proven experience in a proactive business development, sales, or account management role within the hospitality or events sector.
* A proactive self-starter skilled at independently generating sales leads and event enquiries, without relying solely on reactive opportunities.
* Strong network of contacts within the corporate and hospitality industries.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to close deals effectively.
* A proactive, results-driven mindset with a passion for exceeding targets.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask.
* Knowledge of the London hospitality and events market is highly desirable.
