ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Analyzes designs, creates, enhances, and tests complex application software as senior personnel. - Create, enhances and tests complex application software that operates efficiently and accurately - Work autonomously, guide/mentor other developers in team - Troubleshoots issues and makes recommendations to improve efficiency and accuracy of application software. - Uses knowledge of development language(s), development procedures, structured methodologies, and computer platform(s) to complete assignments and continues to expand knowledge in these areas as needed. - Coordinates and schedules the tasks and activities established objectives and takes appropriate action to ensure that objectives are achieved. - Employs interpersonal and verbal communication skills necessary to effectively coordinate interrelated activities with coworkers, end-users, and management. - Reports team progress and status to project leadership and/or management. - Provides timely status updates. - Multi-tasks and balances multiple assignments and priorities - Exhibits effective written communication skills necessary to produce documentation that accurately and effectively describes application software functionality. - Performs other related duties as directed by supervisor.
