To perform a range of physiological cardiac investigations on both inpatients and outpatients across a broad age range, delivering high quality, evidence based holistic care.
To produce technical reports and analysis of investigations, working both independently and under supervision that will have a direct effect on patient care.
Preparation and monitoring of patients for complex cardiac investigations.
To promote a collaborative approach to care whilst supporting and facilitating the learning of others.
The Royal Cornwall Hospital, Truro, is the main provider of acute healthcare to the majority of Cornwall’s residents and many seasonal visitors. Cardiology Services offer a comprehensive range of investigations and treatments appropriate to a large DGH.
